  1. It sounds a bit like a country song. My dog is dead and gone... the Sierra is gone... my son traded in his white jeep for a fast car and is gone on deployment... Ah, those days in the woods were the days I loved. Thank goodness I still have my Jeep and there will always be dirt roads and mud.

    1. Loved how you described the above pix.

May the coming year unfold many adventures for you, Dawn. And they bring you peace and happiness!

      Happy Holidays!

  2. Enjoy your Jeep upon those dirt roads and mud holes and enjoy that new dog Willy of yours as you make plans for the day your son returns from deployment. And remember ... It's a wonderful life!

    1. It is definitely a wonderful life. For sure. If my "comment" sounded droopy, it wasn't. It's just funny to me that it could be a country song. Times like those definitely make me think it's a good life.

  3. Why does the sight of a muddy Jeep get me all revved up? Yeah, I think you need to flesh out those words into the perfect country & western song! As long as you got mud on the tires, life is moving forward and all will be right in the world.

    1. I'm not sure... but it gets me revved up too. I'd love to bring the Jeep to your Elmira Pond, but that would be one heck of a long drive. haha. Yes, as long as there are jeeps and mud, all is right in the world. For sure.

  4. Yes, I hear a country song, but perhaps not quite as rowdy as some of my friends :)

All the roads we've traveled, some together, some alone, still always lead me back home.
