I had a BLAST. I did get chicken. The end of that road had DEEP ruts, creeks running across and a huge hill. I turned around and headed back from the way I came. It was wonderful.
I have always dreamed of having a Jeep. Never thought it would happen. Then I wrecked the mazda (that was almost paid off) and with that check I went straight up and put a down payment on a Jeep. I decided to start living my dreams even if they seemed too frivolous. I'm glad I did.
Thank you so much for the sweet comments. Long before I understood blogging, my first attempt was titled "Doin Time on my Behind" and focused on trying to live in the moment, and find enough confidence to sit and write daily. I ended up deleting that blog once I began to learn about google rules and such. So the watches are definitely a reminder that I'm to do time on my behind each day as a writer. Pleasure to meet you.
Oh gosh, Jeeps are amazing. There's nothing like driving and smelling the honeysuckle or the evergreen trees and etc as I drive down the road. It's lovely.
Looks like fun! I miss my Jeep.
ReplyDeleteIt is great fun. I certainly hope I never have to say those words (I miss my Jeep). My Jeep is my buddy almost. Thank you for visiting.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo! Evokes dreams of great adventure.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mouse. That is a wonderful compliment.
DeleteLooks like a jeep is the perfect vehicle for that forest road. Bet you had fun.

ReplyDeleteI love those roads and views too. Nothing like being in a truck or Jeep and bumping down a dirt road.
DeleteI see you got a little mud on the tires - just like the song.
ReplyDeleteyes... I was laid back swerving like I was George Jones, down that red dirt road, and got a little mud on the tires. ;)
DeleteI've always wanted a Jeep :)
