In the photos, you can see a barn roof. That farm had many ducks and geese. I would imagine they were from that farm. But still.... I've never seen peacocks come out of a field so far from buildings. Some vineyards have them for insect control on our area. i love to just watch them, though I don't always enjoy listening to them if they become alarmed.
